Now KidsLibs is a registered Trust within Kenya we are able to ask for donations! Here is a wishlist of things big and small that we need- either money to purchase, or the items themselves donated.

Really any assistance towards any of these things will be happily received-, and of course we always need donations of books and magazines!!!!

money to purchase Africa collection books for all centres locally

digital video camera to record events at all centres

 

money to purchase fuel for KidsLibs vehicle

a strong practical vehicle in which to transport books etc (proposal available)

accommodation costs during training at rural centres

carpeting for Laikipia- quotation available

building costs and materials costs for proposed new centre in Laikipia- most costs availabl

KidsLibs signs making to go outside all centres ( each 9in square, colour on plastic or metal with KidsLibs Trust logo and some text)

funding to enable Mary to return ot teach the staff sign language at monthly meetings

Computers which work! Must have CD ROM drive.

funding for salary for Anne- proposal available.

 

Money to get a professional DVD made about KidsLibs so we can approach donors (30,000 USD quotation available)

money to purchase ALICE library computer system - available in Kenya

10,000/- to purchase two bikes to enable staff from 2 centres ot collect free Nation newspapers.
